Firewall Rule Testing: We use commercial software to send pre-defined network traffic to both the inside and outside interfacs of your firewall. By connecting to both sides of your firewall, a port / protocol scan matching your current configured firewall rules can test the effectiveness of these rules and your firewall. The software we use utilizes IP & MAC spoofing to simulate connections without actually accessing remote systems.

IDS / IPS Penetration Testing: Intrusion Detecting / Prevention Systems are a great invention, warning and defending the network admin against attacks, but are complex and require expert knowledge and experience to configure, operate and test.
